Oil Column Formed Alumina Ball

Oil column forming alumina balls are made from pseudo-boehmite. After the pseudo-boehmite is peptized and formed into aluminum sol, it is mixed with the gelling agent and then dripped into hot oil through a dispersed dropper for molding. After aging, washing, drying, and baking, the spherical alumina carrier is obtained.Compared with other forming methods, the spherical alumina prepared by oil column forming has the characteristics of good pore structure, concentrated pore distribution, uniform pore size, high strength, low bulk density, and regular sphericity. Therefore, it can be widely used as catalyst carriers in the field of petrochemical or fine chemical industry.
